The two-guys-vying-for-one-girl scenario can be either invigorating or infuriating, and in this series, it’s the latter, because one guy was misled and mistreated by both the author and her character. Never have I ever hated a heroine so much!
That should not be over looked simply because my favorite character was ax’d. When I finish the book, I type out a summary and post it in this blog. Since Calla has been removed from that list, he’s actually probably second only to Ren. It was possibly my favorite part, and I grew ever-closer to his character. Oh, Cremer’s writing was good The action and the suspense was great in this book. This just goes to show that it’s ok for teenagers to have sex, drink, and cures.

We’ve slowly gotten to know her better over the series, and she nows seems like the type of girl you’d like to have watching your back. The bitter-sweetness this book brought in it’s ending was fitting.
